Nowadays, one of the global main concerns is ‘Climate Change’. What kind of symptoms you can find out in Egypt? And do you have any countermeasure against it?

Climate change. I think there are two schools of that thought. Some people say there will be growing climate change. On the other side, some would say ‘no’. There is no climate change, which is a normal thing. The recent debate on the existence of climate change is somewhat exaggerated. That is the way of the second group’s view. However, anyway what I can see at this moment is that summers become longer and hotter; winter becomes shorter and milder in Egypt. Climate Change is not a phenomenon that you can handle, but I think it is needed the overall approach to solve this problem. So it is good to be a comprehensive global effort to handle this problem. We have the Ministry of Environment. And they are really trying to handle this problem and start to campaign of public wealth. This problem is serious. We have to take care of ‘mother nature’, and we try to make people understand Mother Nature be destroyed by our misuse of water, misuse of papers, food and everything. These entire things are related with climate change. It is not the one-dimensional matter but the multi-phases problem. It has many dimensions and aspects. So, you cannot handle just as in a sole thing.
