A rise in temperature to cause water shortage and imbalance

According the 4th Report of IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), due to the influences of global warming and climate change, our planet will have 2.0~3.8℃ increase in temperature and 3% more rainfall than present. Especially the Eastern Asia to which Korea belongs is forecasted to reach to about 3℃ rise in temperature as well as considerable increase of unusual weather phenomena like drought and flood.

You may simply regard as followed: If it is just a bit of temperature rising, it might be a matter of adjustment to hotter climatic environment. Psst! Wake up. Present climate change caused by global warming does not stop at the point of rising temperature but reach further on the imbalance or shortage of water crucial for human survival, because it is even changing that the pattern of raining which is the main root of water resource. Even though an amount of rainfall increases out of climate change, precipitation days are in reduction. That means we will see much more probability of concentrated torrential downpours than before. Due to the temporally concentrated rainfall phenomena which is followed by long-term dry season, drought and flood occur repeatedly worldwide.
