In the Han River, waterfront areas are going to be created being harmony of modern and international aspects of metropolitan city of Seoul. For instance, in 'the Yeoju Sector 2 of Zone 4' which the Southern division of Han River crossing downtown of Yeoju city, new waterfront area which reinterpreted its local culture and history in modern emotion will be meet with citizens. The theme words representing the waterfront area of Yeoju are 'Eco Stream', 'Neighborhood Tourism', and 'Nature Space'.

The notion of 'Eco Stream' signifies spatial creation harmonizing forest and waterway. Connecting riparian ecosystem and adjacent forest ecosystem, installation of open-type waterways and afforestation around the revetments are on the schedule as well. 'Neighborhood Tourism' means the formation of mutual spaces of cultural tourism sharing with local residents. In addition to the affiliation with local tourist attractions like 'the Eight Great Views in Yeoju', 'Ceramic Art Village', 'Royal Mausoleum of the King Sejong', and Sinreuk Temple, we also decorate with new tourist attraction from water resource like 'the Eco Museum'. 'The Nature Space' which both human and nature make will consist of 'the experience course of making linear revetment which adapting to the topography' and 'designing harmonized landscape' and 'making the ferry site' in miniatures.

In waterfront cultural spaces, we will put the theme street integrated with surrounding landscape by planting indigenous species of pine trees, taxus cuspidate, metasequoia, prunus yedoensis, and so forth. On the gentle slope, the colony of common reeds plans to be created for unconventional view.
