Constant research on aquatic ecosystem health
The endangered species will be preserved by separate proliferation and restoration plans. The Ministry of Environment already has 'the plan of proliferation and restoration for endangered wild species (2006)' to push forward. Additionally, with considering the intent of the project for recovering ecological diversity, the four species of fishes, that is, white sumaja(Gobiobotia nakdongensis), shiner and gobiobotia brevibarba which were not reflected to the present plan will be restored until 2012 and set released to the nature. Then, by the 2012, 12 fish species among 18 of the endangered list would be in active state of proliferation. Regarding what extension of affection would be by the project to the existing ecosystems, continuous and constant observation will be carried out by the researches for aquatic ecosystem health and natural environment. To secure the aquatic ecosystem health, we will extend the research spots from 650 to 1100 places, and also the research for the inhabitable conditions and environment of aquatic species are due to executed biannually.
