Artistic Appearance of Seungchon Weir

Although the construction is on the way, the artistic bird's eye-view of future weir is fascinating experts. Five beams that symbolize rice grain,which will be built in Gongdo Bridge, emphasize five colors of white, black, yellow, red and blue. From every degree, the view is perfect, the constructor explains. However, not only visual part is focused.

It is planned to build a theme park and Seochang Oma Park on the left side of Gongdo Bridge to improve access from local population. Onthe right side, Oehyang Grass Park, Seungchon Lake Park, Jjokbit Park,Yehyang Maru will be built, which could rival Seou's Han River Parks.

Also, swamps and water-edge plants will be placed to attract frogs.Kentish plovers and otters will be able to live in the woods and tunnels. In the upper stream, three ferries, Sayang, Cheongdong andSeungchon, and an aqua park are planned.
