Ribbon-cutting in dyke raising work on Gyeryong Reservoir, Gongju City

In July 15, Gyeoryong Reservoir (Gongju, Chungnam Province) has cut the ribbon as the first completed one among 15 reservoirs under dyke raising work in the province. At the completion ceremony, Seo Gyu-yong (Minister for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries), Shim Myung-pil (head of Office of National Rivers Restoration), Shim Dae-pyeong (a member of National Assembly), Hong Moon-pyo (CEO of the Agriculture and Fishery Development), Gu Bon-chung (Administrative governor of Chungnam Province), Lee Jun-won (Mayor of Gongju City) and about 200 residents participated in. Through this project, capacity of this reservoir has increased approximate 1.3 million ton, and waterfront recreational facilities with riparian park, promenade trail were created.
