It is a pleasant surprise to see a Korean style name on your card. We heard that you had already visited much time before inauguration, and that experience led you to have special affection to Korea.
I am from the House of Miryang Park (one of the biggest clans of Korean surname) also, ha ha. Even from before I came to Korea as ambassador, already I had keen interests in Korea. About 46 years ago, as Paraguay started to adopt 100,000 immigrants from Korea, the bilateral relationship has been solidified up until now. At present, the number of Korean expatriates in Paraguay reaches officially twenty thousand. However, considering the second generation Koreans are considered to hold Paraguayan citizenship, the whole numbers of ethnic Korean can be assumed larger. Paraguayan people have seen diligence for working and passion for learning which Korean neighbors have shown to us.
