The heads of each village who are the closest persons for the residents also visited the site of the Four Major Rivers Restoration Project. Last June 3, forty foremen from Gunwi County of Gyeongbuk Province looked around the Gumi Weir and Sangju Weir of the Nakdong. After eye-witnessing, some showed pleasant surprise from transformed new eco-friendly environment near the weirs. "Even after the completion of the project, we hope that this hardly re-attained environment be kept going well. Furthermore, it becomes a regional scenic spot." They delivered an address of more intensified countermeasures for torrential rainfall during the rainy season. They also claimed to be volunteers for promotion of the project.
