Considering the climatic characteristic, it is assumed that Egypt might face the water problems. And it needs a governmental-level policy for water resource management.

The Nile River (etymologically derived from Ancient Egyptian, meaning ‘Great River’) a major north-flowing river in North Africa, generally regarded as the longest (nearly 7,000km) river in the world. Even so, it is urgently needed that it must be a campaign with public awareness about how to use water of Nile River rationally. Actually concerning the water shortage in Egypt, I would like to point out the misuse of water and mismanagement first. Water resources we have also. However, about 30 to 40% of water supplied to people is being misused. The leakage in the old pipes is maybe one of the reasons. Sometimes people leave with the tap open without paying an attention in closing the tap while washing car or gardening. Replacing old infrastructure is crucial. Before that, public awareness should be awakened first. Our government will try to fix it.
