At this time, the Korean government is driving ambitiously the Four Major Rivers Project. We want to hear your far-sighted view on that.
This is a great project I think. This will definitely contribute to the economic growth in Korea. Furthermore, this will lead and contribute to enhancement in quality of life for the average Korean. So, definitely, to my mind, it’s very useful project. And you have early allocated the financial resources for this Project. Maybe now it sounds to be a bit expensive, but in the long run, it will offset. It will contribute to Korean people and country itself eventually. I remind you Egypt had an irrigation project by constructing Aswan Dam in the Nile. Aswan Dan was built as a huge project in 1960’s with collaboration with Soviet Union. And this was supposed to be a biggest dam project in the world in that time. When there was a drought which struck the Africa, many African countries suffered from severe water shortage. Egypt was saved because of the high dam.
