The Four Major Rivers Restoration Project was to be verified that it has effect of alleviate the threat of flood.

In case of the Nakdong River, July 16 and 17, Haman and Hapcheon region 213 mm, August 8 to 11, typhoon named as Denmu poured huge amount of water of 243 mm in Hapcheon and 178 mm in Goryeong, however, no damage were reported within the sector of the project.
