What things are in the consideration while Paraguayan government pushes forward the waterway project?

We are contemplating the two aspects on the project. The first thing is, in social aspect, our will to protect indigenous people, the native Indios and the poor. Our project will be propelled within the boundary not to damage natural assets and environment. Riverside residents usually depend on the river for their food, especially fisheries, so that we have to ponder upon that all the time. The second is the environmental aspect because, particularly, the upper stream areas of the Paraguay River and the Parana River are worldly interested nature preservation area. Our government refers to the development cases of foreign countries, especially; it includes the Mississippi Project and the Rhine River’s experience. The Mississippi River has many resemblances to our Parana River so that we expect many help from the case.
