At present, the Four Major Rivers Restoration Project is under process. Please tell us the degree of your government’s interest for that.

Paraguay has a profound and keen interest in the Project on its finishing phase in Korea. If any chance, we hope the constructors in Korean project to take part in our project in Paraguay. Generally, as the initial works on river environment undertakings, the dredging work is usually done at first. From the reason of that, I hope that Korean dredging skills and equipments would be committed to our Hidrovia project. We also see the Cheonggyecheon (Cheonggye Stream) Restoration Project as a verified and successful case of urban stream restoration. Streams and tributaries in Paraguay suffer from severe and perennial contamination from garbage dumps. By benchmark on the Cheonggyecheon, we could apply more sustainable measures on the urban stream of Asuncion. When our President visits Korea, the Cheonggyecheon would be on the first priority to see.
