Dalseong Weir - "Shape from cruise ship sailing the Nakdong"

The shape of cruise ship is infused into the Dalseong Weir. It symbolized new era flowing through the river. The almost completed Dalseong Weir looked like a beautiful cruise ship on sailing, which means initial design intent worked. Total length is 579m, which includes movable sector of 120m and static sector of 459m. The public bridge was constructed in minimized size in order not to stand out than surrounding natural scenery. It can be shown as a bridge in distance; however, you could find the observatory space protruded in semicircle shape. In the late July, the upstream left bank from the weir was busy in finalizing the work on fishways.
