A member of 'Association of Photographers', "Especially the explanation heard in direct field was very instructive."

The members of 'Environment Preservation Subcommittee, The Photo Artist Society of Korea' visited the Buyeo Weir on the Geum River and the Taehwa River on 11th June to the next day. They participated in special lecture from an official of construction site for the Buyeo Weir, and then verified the condition of the riverbed, by moving on lugger (a type of small sailing vessel).

In evening, they attended another special lecture titled 'Maintenance, Preservation and Planning for eco-streams' from Mr. AHN Hong-Gyu (researcher of Institute of Construction Technology Research) in 'Gyeongju Kolon Hotel', the accommodation of the day. The second day of visit led them to the Taehwa River of Ulsan to let them be reported the present and history of the Taehwa River's restoration. They who finished the 2 days visit said with one mouth, "Due to the field survey and explanation sessions, there has been a shift in awareness for the necessity of the restoration and importance of the project." They also added by commenting that they hope much more people will have opportunities to visit the field of making history like this and feel the same like them.
