Shim Myung-Pil, Minister of the Office of National River Restoration had a press meeting on the torrential rainfall and its countermeasures in the forenoon, July 4, at Administrative HQ in Gwacheon. This day, Mr. Shim witnessed that there was no abnormality concerning the typhoon and heavy downpour of the June, and explained about the status of the project using FIMS. The FIMS is an integrated management system upon the Four Major Rivers invented to take more precise information about the status of the project. Each webcam fulfills its functions in real-time observation. Mr. Shim elucidated to the reporters the status of the project from Ipo Weir of the Han River to the Dalseong Weir of the Nakdong through FIMS.
